Humans, animals and the environment can be harmed by the chemicals in the batteries, we have been talking about how important it is to recycle them!
Now students and their families know that if they have batteries they can't use anymore, they can deposit them in our container to recycle them!
This week we have been creating our Project Wall! We have been talking about simple things we can do to help protect The Earth and then we have been doing different pictures about it! We enjoyed the activity very much!
My Dodos are also learning how to upload their work into the twinspace. Today, they made their contribution to the project page.
My Dodos are really eager and excited about the project. They have already made their own recycling bins at home. I also thank to my parents for their contribution.
This week we have also been talking about the Internet Day! It's been very interesting! My Dodos are more aware about how to be careful online now!
This week we have finished our New Year's Greeting Cards! They are going to be sent to Turkey and we are looking forward to receive our own! This is really exciting!
"ECO-SCHOOLS PROGRAMME"
Yesterday I introduced "Eco-Schools Programme" to my Dodos. Students will definitely engage in the active protection of the environment. The process itself starts in the clasroom and gradually it expands to the school and local community. As a result it has a positive influence on the lives of Dodos, their families, school staff and local authorities.
