 A TITLE PAGE FROM A NEWSPAPER - NEWS ON ENVIRONMENT AND WASTES

News on Environment and Wastes have been introduced and discussed with Dodos - their task was to prepare a title page from a newspaper concerning news on environment and wastes such as global warming, water and air pollution, deforestation, litter left in the forests or on the beach, melting of the glaciers and problem resulting from eating plastic waste by sea and ocean animals.

 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FORESTS

Dodos took part in the International Day of Forests to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests and to become more aware about the activities involving forests and trees, such as tree planting campaigns. International Day of Forests lapbooks have been also prepared in an imaginative way.

 WORLD WATER DAY

Dodos celebrated World Water Day by discussing the main issues concerning this topic. Their awareness about the global water crisis has been raised. The value of water is enormous not only for our household, food, culture, health, education and economics but also for the integrity with our natural environment. As a result of this theme fantastic World Water Day lapbooks have been prepared.
